There’s something very satisfying about fixing things. At least, that’s the way we feel at Multibrand – it’s why we do what we do, our “raison d’etre".

Maybe it’s the pleasure derived from getting a washing machine up and running again and sensing the relief this small act brings to the busy householder.

Maybe it’s the thought that in a society where consumer goods are now viewed as throwaway items, one less appliance will be spending the next hundred or so years slowly rotting in a landfill site.

Or maybe it’s just a vocation thing. Some people have a religious calling, some are drawn to medicine or the legal profession. We like to fix things.

Specifically, those things that you tend to find in your kitchen or utility room. The things that are there every day to assist you with the washing, cleaning and food preparation. The things that wait until you’ve shopped for the week and then refuse to keep it all cool for you; the things that pack up halfway through a cycle when you’re just back from Spain with two weeks worth of washing to get done.

Still, at least we’re here to help when you need us most. We may not be all things to all people, but when those things go wrong, we’re the people you need to know.
