In 1999, Mark Rogers and Ian Shaw drew on their combined 26 years experience of working within Hotpoint’s service division to form Multibrand Services Limited. Their vision for the new company was clear from the beginning.

To provide the high level of service in terms of professionalism and integrity, generally only found in a manufacturer supporting it’s own products, allied with the flexibility and dynamism of a smaller organisation that can repair and maintain the whole range of brands and appliances sold in the UK.

No small feat for a brand new venture, but it soon became clear that the strategy was exactly right. Local, trusted independent retailers began referring their valued and loyal customers to Multibrand should an appliance require a repair once the initial warranty had expired. Extended warranty providers and third party insurers realised that they now had a “one-stop shop” for all the brands and products covered by breakdown insurance. And, having had a repair successfully completed by Multibrand, customers were quick to recommend the company to family and friends and to return themselves for free friendly advice should another appliance fail.

Today the company has consolidated its core customer base and has extended its portfolio of clients to include Housing Associations and Property Management organisations. This has led to the development of new internal systems and processes, each one tailored to the individual needs of the customer. And each one supporting the philosophy that service to all markets should be Effective, Affordable and Guaranteed.
