Sourcing the parts required to complete a repair once the initial diagnosis has been made can be the downfall of many companies. Even manufacturers suffer from shortage of supply from time to time. But if the item isn’t on the engineers van, unlike others we have a formidable range of options open to us.

Firstly, there are national distributors. These organisations only supply to the trade and cover all the mainline brands in the white goods industry. Then there are local stockists who tend to hold smaller volumes of quick moving items. And if the part required is a little more unusual or specific to just one appliance, we have direct accounts with over 20 major manufacturers – a position enjoyed by precious few independent service agents.

Using our extensive knowledge of the industry together with our impressive buying power we have…

• successfully sourced a gearbox to keep a much loved Hotpoint top loading washing machine in service when even the manufacturer had made the part obsolete
• obtained a starting device for a 1950’s Prestcold fridge which was something of a family heirloom
• kept a volunteer-run Birmingham soup kitchen operating over Christmas by replacing the evaporator matrix in a commercial coolstore after the manager had been told he’d have to throw the equipment away

Not only can we source genuine spares from a variety of suppliers, where they exist and are of good quality we can also offer “pattern” (non-genuine) spares at often much more competitive prices. Many of these pattern parts come from the same factory as their genuine relations – the only difference being the packaging they arrive in.
