Replacement service

Given the nature and breadth of Social Housing schemes, appliances can suffer from a foreshortened life expectancy compared to the same appliance in a single-family domestic property. When this happens, we can provide a full replacement service.

The decision to replace or install a new appliance can come direct from yourselves or we may suggest this course of action following an engineers visit to attend to a breakdown (see Quick Quote)

If replacement is identified as the best option, we start by identifying the current needs of the scheme (which may have changed since the appliance was originally installed) and sourcing at least two appliances to quote against. Given the authority to proceed we will then install the new appliance and dispose of the old one. (Wherever practical, these are shipped to the third world to be reprocessed and recycled).

We are always mindful of the need to keep appliance down times to a minimum (especially in supported housing schemes) and to this end we have arrangements with various distributors of finished goods to enable us to get new products on site and installed quickly.
